Knowing where the elderly has been is important in day-care management. Our solution will enable the staffs to track their clients’ real-time location.

Hospital management faces many challenges in deliverying best-in-class care while ensuring safty at reasonable cost. The ability to track the location of people and assets inside hopsital through mobile devices gives hospital staff the ability to manage assets effectively, tackling safety problems and increasing efficiency, thereby reducing costs while improving patient outcomes.
We demonstrate below how our indoor localization solution could augment hospital information system in a few key areas:

Improving staffs and patients safety. Users could trigger emergency alarms on their mobile phone; hospital management team will be notified with its exact indoor location.
Paging for nearest staffs and assets tracking. Our solution could guarantee 3-5 meter accuracy, and systems for paging the closest hospital staffs (like doctors or nurses) can work effectively with that level of accuracy.


Automated wayfinding as a way to improve patient experience. Healthcare wayfinding is a serious customer and patient relations issue for hospitals and medical facilities. For many hospitals, since they only get one chance to make a good first impression, the wayfinding system should be designed with the first-time visitor in mind.
Contact tracing inside hospital premise. Contact tracing is finding everyone who comes in direct contact with disease-infected patient. In the diagram, a detail walking path (including contact points) during a patient's stay in the hospital is drawn.
See What We Have To Offer 
Accufind IPS was designed to provide a location technology with an accuracy better than one meter, thereby making turn-by-turn direction apps inside a building a reality. An initial site survey builds a database of ambient WiFi or iBeacons signal fingerprints. Mobile apps on iOS and Android can then use our SDK to obtain a high-accuracy location by combining the ambient signal fingerprints with the output of all the sensors.
FINGERPRINTS DATABASE. A site survey or training of the site builds a database of "fingerprints". Fingerprints are collections of radio signal identities and strengths at known locations. Estimating a device's location requires looking up a snapshot of ambient signals taken at the device's current location against the fingerprints database.
TRIANGULATION ALGORITHM. Triangulation is a geographic positioning system for mobile devices that estimates their locations, using Wi-Fi, cellular phone and GPS signals. It works on all networks (GSM, CDMA, 3G) and across all operators throughout the world. Triangulation does not require any site survey in buildings, once it knows the exact location of the signal sources.
MOBILE APP LOCATION. Mobile apps on Android and iOS are compiled with Accufind SDK. Apps take a snapshot of buidlings' wireless signals, and obtain their location either server-side by querying Accufind Localization server or client-side through the SDK, which uses data from the device's sensors. The SDK can deliver 3 -5 meter accuracy.
CONTEXTUAL MESSAGING. Location-based Content Pushing is achieved by interacting people and media with their indoor location. It centres around knowing more about your customers, specifically their current and previous location, to deliver timely and contextually relevant content. With the proliferation of mobile devices, such a capability is ever more important for businesses.
SPATIOTEMPORAL KNOWLEDGE DISCOVERY. As more and more apps rely on indoor localization, there will be an exponential increase of data. Our spatial big data analytics engines will provide real-time crowd management and answers to when peak traffic is hit.
CLOUD GIS. Accufind indoor maps are SaaS. Our GIS server normally runs on a public cloud. Any authorized app may query the server through the SDK or its API to obtain buildings' indoor maps.

This design comes with a matching 404 page for users who reach an unrecognised site url. Below is a screenshot of that link or you can see it live here.

Shape5 Vertex uses articles to display a 404 page rather than a hard coded php file that's hard to modify, like many other designs do. This means you can modify the look or wording of the page very easy without having to modify a file, and it keeps all of your site navigation in tact for ease of use for your site viewers since it uses the template and not an external file. It's as simple as editing an article through the CMS to make any desired changes, or simply leave it as shown! Our site shapers come pre-packaged with the custom 404 page article. If you are setting up a brand new site without a site shaper the easy follow instructions are below the screenshot on this page.

Setup Instructions

  • These instructions are for non site shaper installs. If you're installing with a shaper just make sure to leave the article titled "404 Error Page" published and you're done!
  • If you are installing a fresh installation with no sample data simply create an article and make sure it's titled "404 Error Page". It must be given this name for the Vertex framework to identify the page needed to be used.
  • You can put any content that you want on this new article, or we've provided the code used on this demo below.
  • Save the article to any category, just make sure it's published.
  • That's it, you're done! The site will now redirect to this article when ever an unrecognised url is detected.
